We have partnered with CicLAvia and a number of community stakeholders to explore alternative transit and land use to bring more open-space and healthy land-use to South LA. We work to promote healthy activities, community safety, sustainable transportation and land use policy, and build relationships between members of the broader community.

CicLAvia South LA. :

CicLAvia is a free fun family-friendly street festival that transforms miles of city streets into programmed park space for day long community development - (ciclavia.org) TRUST South LA is a partner in supporting the future expansion to bring the event route into the heart of South Los Angeles.

RideSouthLA:

In Partnership with the Mobile Urban Mapping Project within the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism we are planning a series of exploration bike rides to develop maps as advocacy tools. The maps hope to promote south LA's amazing biking character and culture and serve as tools for discussing the changes that could occur to make biking even more accessible.
